Highlights of My Experience with My Pre-K Box
In this review I’ll give you all the details about my preschooler and I’s experience with My Pre-K Box, my thoughts on the activities, and what I think of the box. But if you would rather just know the highlights, here is a quick summary.
My Pre-K Box is a preschool learning kit that gets delivered monthly to your door. It’s designed by an early childhood educator for learning fun for kids ages 3 to 5.
Things I Liked and Didn’t Like About the Box
What I liked best about My Pre-K box is how much fun the activities were! This isn’t my first experience with a preschool subscription box. I have tried and reviewed others. And this one was a favorite of my preschooler.
The box was full of NO-PREP educational activities and crafts perfect for preschoolers as advertised. But what I was pleasantly surprised by was how genuinely enjoyable the activities were for my child (and even for me!).
A second thing I loved was that the activities in this box were NO-PREP. Every included craft or activity was ready to use straight out of the box.
One thing I didn’t like about My Pre-K box is that most of the activities require supervision and parent involvement. There isn’t much you can set up for your child to keep them busy while you finish dinner or get a little work done.
I love doing activities with my preschooler but I also love when kiddo can practice being a little more independent (and I can take a minute to get something done!).
Overall I was impressed with this box and would happily recommend it to someone looking for homeschool preschool in a box activities. Or just a fun preschool subscription box of crafts and games for their kiddo.

About My Pre-K Box Subscription Box for Preschoolers
My Pre-K box is an at-home preschool kit of monthly learning activities for kids ages 3 to 5. Each month’s box contains math and literacy games, crafts and sensory activities.
You will also find a “grownup guide” of directions for each activity in your box. This was super detailed. And at no point was I left trying to figure things out on my own, which is always a win.
Each month’s box will have a different theme, often seasonal. And all of the activities in the box will revolve around the monthly theme.
I received “The Space Box”. And my preschooler had a blast with the included games and learning activities related to all things outer space.
All of the activities in this preschool subscription box are zero prep and can be played or created straight out of the box.
I loved that I didn’t have to plan or prepare anything before we could get started on these activities. It made it easy to get preschool and craft time rolling without my little one having to wait for me to get organized.
This monthly subscription box for preschoolers is perfect for families doing preschool at home or looking for learning activities to do with their 3 to 5 year old.

What Kind of Activities are in the My Pre-K Box Preschool Kit?
My Pre-K Box was created by an early childhood educator who is also a mom. So, each activity is a nice balance of learning and fun.
The fun factor is impressive! And the balance of learning and playing is perfect. Let’s talk specifically about the activities in the box my 5 year old received.
Our box was called The Space Box and included a variety of fun space themed activities including:
Count the Stars
Count the Stars is a math game with a game mat and glow in the dark plastic stars. Preschoolers can roll the dice and then add the correct number of stars that matches the number on the dice.
Then your child (or a grownup) records the number of big stars and the number of small stars on a provided recording sheet.
I love this as an introduction to simple math equations. And my preschooler had fun with it!
Space Race Game
One of my preschooler’s favorite activities, the Space Race Game, is a two person board game activity. Using a simple spinner you move game pieces around the board from start to finish using the letters of the alphabet.
Plan on playing this with your little one more than once – they’ll love it!
Straw Rocket STEM & Craft Kit
This STEM activity was a hit with both of my kids. It involves making a simple rocket and attaching it to a straw you can use to “launch” it into space.
Solar System Sticker Scene
An easy and fun independent activity, your preschooler can create their own scene from space on a background with provided stickers.
There was also a smaller version of this activity, a mini sticker scene tucked in with the STEM rocket activity.
Starry Shape Constellations
A fun geometry and science activity! Help your preschooler create constellations out of pipe cleaners and plastic stars following the provided shape cards.
Solar System Ordinal Words
An interesting activity for teaching kids about ordinal words and putting things in order. Not a topic often covered, but so important.
And my little one enjoyed the setup of putting the planet stickers on the disks. A learning activity in itself.
Help your preschooler practice rhyming words with the words and pictures on the included astronauts.
Galaxy Slime Sensory Play
This small tub of galaxy inspired slime was a lot of fun for my preschooler to play with using the included astronaut and monkey included in the box.
Just beware – my worst slime experience involved my preschooler putting it in their hair – gah!!!
Alien Spaceship Craft
I saved the best for last! This craft was adorable and fun! My preschooler LOVED it. And even went on to make more with supplies we had at home in our craft closet. It was easy, fun, and adorable.
Plus it can be played with after the craft is complete, which my kids love.
