Teacher Thank You Printable from Kids
Teachers are real-life heroes in the lives of many kids. They educate, encourage, support, and care for our children throughout the school year. Teachers deserve to be celebrated and recognized for the important role they play in our kids’ lives. One way to help your kids show their gratitude to their teachers is by writing a thank you note. But sometime’s it’s hard for kids to know what to write. Or where to start. So, I created this fill-in-the-blank teacher thank you note printable for kids!
Thank You for Being a Great Teacher Printable
When it comes to Teacher Appreciation Week gifts or a thank you note at the end of the school year I think it’s important that the thanks are coming from my child. And that they learn to express gratitude themselves.
I’ve been lucky to develop wonderful relationships with my kids’ teachers. And I may choose to show them my appreciation with a separate note or gift. But the primary relationship is between my kids and their teachers.
So, I wanted to come up with a simple way for my kids to thank their teachers themselves. And to do it in a fun way that is uniquely their own.
But I don’t expect my kids to write a long flowery letter. This fill-in-the-blank teacher appreciation letter lets kids use their own words to write thoughtful (and probably often funny) things to their teacher to express their gratitude.
If your child is too young to write you can help them fill in the answers in their own words. But most kids from about first or second grade on up should be able to fill in this note mostly on their own.
How to Use this Teacher Appreciation Card Printable
You can grab the free printable teacher thank you note from my free resource library here. Then print the Thank You for Being a Great Teacher printable on letter size paper (8.5 x 11).
It looks fine in black and white but is most fun when printed in color.
To make something your child’s teacher will truly love, let your child use their own words to complete the fill-in-the-blank answers for the teacher appreciation letter. Kids always come up with the funniest things to say. And the sweetest.
If your child can write, let them complete the answers on this fill-in-the-blank teacher thank you note themselves. If your kids are not yet writers, have them tell you their answers verbally while you help by filling them in.
Then you can fold the teacher thank you letter up and tape it closed or put it in an envelope (with or without an additional gift attached). And send it to school to delight your child’s teacher.
This printable teacher thank you is perfect for Teacher Appreciation Week or as a teacher gift for the end of the school year.
But you don’t have to wait for either of those special times. Teachers work hard all school year long and any time is a great time for your child to show their teacher gratitude.
