Parenting is tough. And you can’t do it alone.
We all want the best for our kids. And to be the best parents we can be. But there is no instruction manual. And some of the stuff that happens with our kids- there is just no way to be prepared for it.
Which is why we’ve all found ourselves searching the internet, talking to friends & family, looking for answers, hope, and a community of parents like us who can relate and help us through it.
That’s what this website is all about. I hope Worth Writing For can become part of your parenting community. A resource to help you find answers, practical tips, and easy to understand advice to make you the happy confident mom you’ve always wanted to be.
And check out my free resource library of printables, kids’ activities, parenting tips, and more free stuff just for moms.
Hi, I’m Elizabeth, mom of two wild and crazy kids who are the loves of my life but also make me want to tear out my hair sometimes.
I’ve been lucky enough to work from home for several years. First as the owner and operator of an in-home daycare providing child care for some lovely littles. And then as a freelancer and blogger writing about parenting and kids.
I grew up in a small-ish town in Oregon where I still live surrounded by family and all the people and places I love.
Right now most of my free (non-mom) time is dedicated to blogging but I also love reading novels, binge watching my favorite shows on Netflix and spending time outside.
More than anything else I love enjoying adventures with my husband and kids. It’s everything I wanted in my life.
If you want to reach out to me, check out the contact page here for how to get in touch!
How Can I Help You as a Parent?
Parenting is hard! If you find yourself struggling as a mom, wondering what to do or say in any given situation or looking for ideas to make your family life better, I want to help!
As a busy work-at-home mom of two, I am always looking for ways to make life a little easier when it comes to raising kids, working, and keeping the house together. And when I find tips or tricks I think might be useful for other parents, I want to share them. With YOU!
And even when things aren’t working, I want to share our struggles and maybe laugh about them a little with a supportive community of moms and dads interested in making life with kids a little less crazy-making.
